Jullian Angel I For a Ghost

Son second LP, Life was the answer (2007), privilégie donc le songwriting acoustique, teinté d’esprit pop-rock, via quelques titres plus étoffés. Jullian Angel was first revealed, with the debut album Melancholic Ecstasy (2004). This self-produced Lp showed an amazing kind of lo-fi electro-pop, but didn’t let you know much about the folk-writing predominant side in Jullian’s work. His second issued record Life was the answer was mainly based on acoustic guitar tracks, some with a richer production, though the vocals and lyrics keep a leading role anyway. For A Ghost (in a room session) , Jullian’s third LP is a home-recorded acoustic set, that features new intimist versions of some previously issued works, and a few inedit pieces from Jullian’s next studio opus, Kamikaze planning holidays, still in the same bared songwriting mood.
